Unlocking Shield Weaver Outfit in Ancient Armory:Īfter finding all 5 Power Cell Locations head back to the Ancient Armory Bunker. When looking at the map it’s on the 1st floor in the purple area at the bottom right corner. Now that she’s grown up, one of the doors can be pried open with the spear. These are the ruins from the prologue of the game, where young Aloy fell down. BEFORE you rapel down, jump down to the left on the rocks and it’s in the hidden purple area. #4 – Area: GAIA Prime (Main Quest: The Mountain That Fell) – 3:42ģrd floor, after you go through the first part of the building you’ll come outside and have to rapel down. You have to open this door and do the puzzle as part of the story, very easy to locate this one. It’s behind the locked door, you’ll walk right into it. #3 – Area: The Grave-Hoard (Main Quest: The Grave Hoard) – 1:52ģrd floor, after solving the ring puzzle to open the locked door. #2 – Area: Maker’s End (Main Quest: Maker’s End) – 0:52Īt the very top of the tower (12th floor). If you get them during the story just follow the main quest markers and you’ll get to the areas automatically. This is especially useful for the second Power Cell on the 12th floor of Maker’s End. This makes it so you get a new waypoint every few meters to guide you through buildings. Now in Game Settings (press Options-Button) turn on “Waypoint Pathfinding”. Put a marker by pressing X at the same location as the video shows. If you have trouble reaching a location there’s an easy trick: Hover over the area on the world map and press D-Pad Down to see the different layers. The power cells have a green icon which makes them easier to spot. If you die you must pick them up again, they are not saved instantly (must reach next checkpoint). To save some time it would be best if you pick them up during the main quests. You can still free roam after beating the story and collect everything after the game ending. The missions areas are locked until you reach a certain point in the story. When you’re done speaking with him, climb up the tower on the east side of this platform to find a Power Cell. The Power Cells are found in mission areas but you can go back and get them later. His name is Sylens, and he’s interested in decoding the mystery of what happened so long ago that caused the world to be overrun by machines. Once you’re finished, you’ll have a chance to ask the unknown caller some questions, as he reveals himself as a hologram. Find them all as the quest instructs and watch the holograms. There are a few more data points to scan in the room. Activate it, and watch the holograms to learn more about Elisabet Sobeck and Faro Industries. Scan the area to find an old data storage system. Search for Information about Elisabet Sobeck When you come to a shaft, go straight up, ignoring the openings on the side. Each of them describe different enemies you’ve encountered, like Corruptors and the Deathbringer. You’ll come to a room with a few holograms. Once you reach a tower, you’ll have to climb up a ramp and use hand and foot holds to climb further upwards. There will be a few cave ins to get through. Take note, there are quite a few Data Points in these ruins. You can use it once you’ve broken it off, but good luck trying to get close enough to the Deathbringer to pick it up and safely use it.Īs you walk through the old ruins, an electronic voice will clue you in on what this building was used for in the past. To cripple its attack power, take out its gun turret with Tearblast arrows, or Hardpoint arrows. The entrance will provide at least some cover against the Deathbringer’s long-rang attacks. Make sure to be stealthy and take out the Eclipse before going after the machine. It’s a walking all-in-one army with bountiful automatic machinery. Further into the site, you’ll find more Eclipse, more Watchers, and a Corruptor, with sounds of explosions going off intermittently.Īfter taking the enemies out, there’s a wall you need to climb up ahead to progress.īe prepared, because up ahead is an absolutely deadly foe, aptly named the Deathbringer. When you first arrive, stick by the main gate and pick them off. The ruins will be completely surrounded by the Eclipse Cultists and Corrupted machines. Pick it up if any of these items sound useful to you (they are). Inside, you’ll find a Ropecaster, Metal Shards, a very rare modification coil, blaze, and wire. He points you in the direction of a supply crate. Also, be wary of the large Bandit Camp you’ll most likely pass on the way, and try to avoid it if you don’t intend on taking it out.Īs you approach, Aloy will start talking about why she’s headed there, and the unknown caller will speak to her through her focus. Just make sure to whistle for it occasionally. Riding a mount is beneficial not only because it’s quicker, but because it can enter the perimeter of the ruins and help you with combat.
